action/reaction

Duration: 4'00"

Instrumentation:

Alto Sax.

Program Notes:

action/reaction is the second in a series for saxophone (or multiple saxophones) that take their names from the Newtonian Laws of Motion. The name, action/reaction, is derived from the third of these laws that basically states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Written for saxophonist Michael Shults.
